Executive Committee

President
Leonard Femino is Partner/Attorney of Alexander & Femino in Beverly, Massachusetts.
He has served on the Board of Trustees since 1993. He has served as Vice President and President.
Mr. Femino shares, “Since I first toured the school and became involved, I have felt honored to support the staff in their selfless work of teaching these children.”
Mr. Femino lives in Beverly, MA with his wife and children.

Vice President
Anthony Fusco is an Attorney with Glovsky & Glovsky in Beverly, Massachusetts.
He has served on the Board of Trustees since 2003. Mr. Fusco serves “because I believe in helping organizations that make a difference in the community, and Beverly School for the Deaf certainly makes a difference for many young people and their families.” Mr. Fusco lives in Beverly, MA with his wife and children.

Treasurer
David Carlson is an Investment Associate with UBS Financial Services in Boston, Massachusetts.
He has served on the Board of Trustees since 1996. He has served as Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. Mr. Carlson serves as a Trustee, “because Beverly School for the Deaf is a wonderful school that provides students with an opportunity for learning that is not available in the public school setting.” Mr. Carlson lives in Wenham, MA with his wife and children.

Secretary
Robin Hough is an Early Intervention Specialist for Deaf and Hard of Hearing children at Beverly School for the Deaf. She has been on the Board of Trustees since 2000. As a teacher, Ms. Hough sees the needs of the students clearly. “These children need early, specialized and consistent language development. Our faculty is educated and experienced in the area of deaf education, learning delays and other communication issues. We are able to work with each child’s individual needs and I firmly believe our students and their parents deserve these specialized services.” Ms. Hough lives in Prides Crossing, MA with her husband and children.

Erik Majeskey is an Associate at Stop & Shop in Beverly, Massachusetts. Mr. Majeskey is an alumnus of Beverly School for the Deaf and has served on the Board of Trustees since 2001. Mr. Majeskey brings a valuable perspective to the Board of Trustees. He remarks, “as an alumnus, I take a special interest in Beverly School for the Deaf.” Mr. Majeskey lives in Beverly, MA with his wife and children.

Scott Price is an Investment Broker with Credit Suisse in Boston, Massachusetts. Mr. Price has served on the Board of Trustees since 1992. Mr Price is committed to Beverly School for the Deaf and its students. “I respect these families and the struggle they go through to ensure an appropriate education for their child. Being a Trustee is a way for me to be sure families and special education professionals have this school to consider as an option.” Mr. Price lives in Wenham, MA with his wife and children.

James E. Rich, Jr. is Senior Vice President & Senior Trust Officer at Beverly National Bank in Beverly, Massachusetts. Mr. Rich has served on the Board of Trustees since 1989. He has served as Vice President and Treasurer. Mr. Rich volunteers his time and expertise to the Board and said, “It is the best way I can help children with disabilities.” Mr. Rich lives in Manchester, MA with his wife and children.

Trustees

Michael Drinan is Security Officer at First National Bank of Ipswich in Ipswich, Massachusetts and is a Reserve Deputy Sheriff for Middlesex County. Mr. Drinan has been on the Board of Trustees since 2007. Mr. Drinan is committed to children’s causes. He serves “to help the kids.” In addition to Beverly School for the Deaf, he also supports Help for Abused Women and Children (HAWC) in Salem, MA. Mr. Drinan lives in Lynn, MA with his wife and son.

Alan Gifford is a Construction Engineering Manager in the Nuclear Division of Shaw Stone & Webster in Stoughton, MA.  Mr. Gifford has served on the board of trustees since 2008.  He brings over twenty years of board experience serving various organizations serving the Deaf. Mr. Gifford lives in Kingston, MA with his wife and children. 

Jack Good is Executive Vice President of Retail at Beverly National Bank in Beverly, Massachusetts.Mr. Good has served on the Board of Trustees since 1980. Mr. Good observes, “The faces at Beverly School for the Deaf have changed during my tenure on the Board to meet a broader number of needs. Unchanged is the commitment of the faculty and staff to the children with special needs. This commitment has been inspirational.” Mr. Good lives in Beverly, MA with his wife.

Timothy Hough is a Radiologist and Partner in Commonwealth Radiology Associates in Salem, Massachusetts. Dr. Hough is a former staff member of Beverly School for the Deaf. He has served on the Board of Trustees since 2000. Dr. Hough serves “to help Beverly School for the Deaf continue to be an integral part of the local educational community.” Dr. Hough lives in Prides Crossing, MA with his wife and children.

Winnie Jones Nordell has served on the Board of Trustees since 2007. Ms. Nordell serves as a result of her personal interest in deafness. Mrs. Jones Nordell lives in Prides Crossing, MA with her husband and children.

Jerry Parisella is an Associate Attorney at Alexander & Femino and an Assistant City Solicitor for the City of Salem. Mr. Parisella has served on the Board of Trustees since 2005. Mr. Parisella recognizes that, “Beverly School for the Deaf is an important local resource that does wonderful work. I want to support its efforts to grow and serve the community.” Mr. Parisella is a member of Kiwanis Club of Beverly, Beverly Youth Collaborative, and the U.S. Army Reserve. Mr. Parisella lives in Beverly MA with his wife and children.

Richard Wylie is President of Endicott College in Beverly, Massachusetts. Dr. Wylie has been on the Board of Trustees since the early 1990s. His interest and expertise in education have proven to be a great resource to Beverly School for the Deaf Board of Trustees.

Lori Morency has served on the board since 2006.  Ms. Morency became involved with the Children's Center for communication/Beverly School for the Deaf after getting to know one of our students and her family.  Ms. Morency states, "Every child deserves the gift of education and CCC/BSD provides that gift every day, on many levels."  Ms. Morency lives in Hamilton, MA with her husband and children.

Martin L. O'Tool is a grade seven social studies teacher at the North Andover Middle School.  He taught at the Beverly School for the Deaf from 1980 - 1985.  He has served on the Board of Trustees for close to twenty years, and has served as Vice President and President of the board.  Mr. O'Toole shares, "As a former staff member and as a long-time trustee, I have a deep appreciation for the unique and exceptional educational experiences provided by this school."  Mr. O'Toole lives in Beverly, MA with his wife and children.
